Measuring of large pump casing is considered as one of the hardest task in metrology. Inspecting with a measuring instruments is hard due to size and heavy weight of the component. So usually a photogrammetry based 3D scanner is required to measure this kind of components to do a 3D inspection for quality control.

Drawbacks in traditional measuring method;
