The new FreeScan series is an ultra-portable handheld 3D laser scanner. It features flexible and convenient scanning mode, and the 3D industry scanner’s high accuracy and stability. The FreeScan series is applicable for a wide range of operating environments and a variety of measured objects. It can maximize scanning efficiency to achieve excellent results.
Ultra-portable laser handheld 3D measurement system weighs only 0.95 kg, narrow space operation accessible, external clamping positioning is not needed.
The original HOI (hybrid of optics and inertia) scanning technology enables a substantial increase in accuracy and reliability of the point cloud registration. For large workpiece scanning, this results in more than a two-fold performance improvement.
Accuracy up to 0.03mm, under German VDI/VDE 2634 standard. High-speed scanning to 480,000 points/second.
Adaptable to measurement tasks in indoor, outdoor, and other complex environments.
Compatible with DigiMetric SHINING 3D photogrammetric systems to measure large workpieces.

Introduction on freescan X7
FreeScan X7 is a hybrid of optics and inertia handheld technology that enables to scan at higher speed and accuracy which is used for scanning large parts like turbine blades, pump, tool & die, foundries, casting & molding, etc.
A laser Handheld scanner is a shop floor 3D Scanner that can Scan black and shiny surfaces in harsh environments, wherein the case of a structured light Scanner is not possible and it also needs a lab setup.
FreeScan X7 has an accuracy of over 0.03 with a resolution of 0.05 mm, perfect for Scanning large parts with high accuracy.
It is a high precision metrology grade handheld laser type Scanner with German VDI/VDE 2634 certified standard.
