In part to part comparison or product comparison, a Computerized Tomography scan (CT scan) is used. With industrial CT scanning, parts are compared with each other faster and easier than ever. With the part to part comparison service, we identify differences and dimensional deviations between two seemingly identical parts with high accuracy. Initially, two parts are scanned with the help of a CT scan, with one part serving as the master part. The master part is then virtually imported in a 3D inspection software while the second part is being inspected. A scan data viewer allows you to take measurements and to see differences between the two parts through color-coding. In a matter of hours, we can compare a master part to production parts, pinpoint lot-to-lot or tool-to-tool consistency and troubleshoot issues. The output is delivered in desirable formats to the customer.
